Thoughtput – Terms and Conditions

Operator: Devoids – IT Solutions (“Devoids”, “we”, “us”, or “our”)
Product: Thoughtput (“Thoughtput”, the “Service”) — a pseudonymous social media application available on Android and the web.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Thoughtput, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory local consumer protections where they apply.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Thoughtput.
  • If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
  • You must provide accurate information where requested (for example, a unique username and credentials) and keep your account secure.
  • You may not use Thoughtput if you are prohibited from receiving services under applicable law.

3. The Service

Thoughtput is a pseudonymous social platform for sharing ideas, asking questions, and having conversations. Features may include (and may change over time):

  • Account creation with a username and password
  • Optional email and/or phone verification
  • Pseudonymous posting; anonymous posting after both email and phone are verified
  • Text and image posts, tags, discovery, conversations, badges, rankings, and related social features
  • Android app (Google Play) and web access

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features without liability where permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

4. Accounts, identity, and verification

  • Thoughtput is designed so you can participate without exposing your real-world identity to other users. Your public-facing identity is your chosen username and profile presentation, not your legal name (unless you choose to share it).
  • Verifying email or phone unlocks participation features such as posting, as described in the product.
  • Verifying both email and phone unlocks anonymous posting. Anonymous posts hide your username from other users for that content; we may still retain server-side records needed for safety, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
  • We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose risk to users, the Service, or third parties.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post or share illegal content, or content that exploits, harms, or sexualizes minors
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, dox, or incite violence against others
  • Spread scams, phishing, malware, or deceptive impersonation of people, brands, or Devoids/Thoughtput
  • Upload content you do not have rights to share
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at abusive scale, disrupt, or bypass security or rate limits
  • Use bots or automation to manipulate rankings, badges, discovery, or engagement in a way that harms the community
  • Use Thoughtput to advertise or solicit in ways that violate these Terms or applicable ad rules, except as we expressly allow
  • Circumvent verification, anonymity, or moderation systems

We may remove content, limit features, or ban accounts when we reasonably believe these rules are broken.

6. Your content

  • You retain ownership of content you create and post (“Your Content”).
  • You grant Devoids a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (e.g. for formatting or delivery), display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service.
  • You represent that you have the rights needed to post Your Content and that it does not violate law or others’ rights.
  • You can delete Your Content or your account subject to residual copies in backups, logs, legal holds, or content shared by others (for example, quotes or rethoughts), as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Our content and brand

Thoughtput’s name, logos, design, software, and documentation are owned by Devoids or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or use them except as needed to use the Service or with prior written permission.

8. Advertising

Thoughtput may show advertisements to support the platform, including:

  • Google AdMob on Android
  • Google AdSense (or similar Google advertising products) on the web

We aim to keep ads minimal and do not design the feed to maximize time-on-screen for ad engagement. Third-party ad providers may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies under their own policies. See our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.

9. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we collect, use, and share information. By using Thoughtput, you also acknowledge those policies.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your Thoughtput content to train general-purpose AI models.

10. Safety, moderation, and reports

  • We may review reports, automate detection, and take action on content or accounts.
  • We are not obligated to monitor all content in advance.
  • If you believe content violates these Terms or the law, use in-app reporting where available or contact contact@devoids.in.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that content from other users is accurate, safe, or lawful.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEVOIDS AND ITS TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THOUGHTPUT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) INR 5,000.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including certain consumer rights in India).

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Devoids against claims arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update these Terms. When we publish a new version, we may require you to review and agree again before continuing to use the app or web Service. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms (where re-agreement is not required) constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

15. Termination

You may stop using Thoughtput and delete your account at any time through available product flows or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, legal reasons, or Service discontinuation. Sections that by nature should survive (including ownership, licenses already granted for residual operation, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.
